The Sk8 Coach Summer Break Skate Camp 2026 Hosted at Alga Norte Skatepark – Carlsbad, CA Spend your summer shredding with The Sk8 Coach! Our camps focus on building confidence, learning new tricks, and having fun in a supportive environment led by professional skate coach Matt Suncin and The Sk8 Coach Pro Staff. Each week is limited to only 12 campers to ensure personalized coaching and a safe learning environment. Camp Dates Week 1: June 15 – 19 Week 2: June 22 – 26 Week 3: June 29 – July 1 (Half Week – Mon–Wed) Week 4: July 6 – 10 Week 5: July 20 – 24 Week 6: August 3 – 7 Camp Schedule Monday – Friday 🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Ages 6 – 13 Skill Levels: Beginner* to Advanced Our goal is to teach the FUNdamentals of skateboarding through a mix of skill progression, creative challenges, and skate games. Whether your child is just starting out or already shredding the park, campers will build skills, confidence, and friendships on and off the board. Beginner Experience Recommendation: We recommend riders have at least 1 month of lessons or roughly 3 months of skate experience before attending camp (being able to push, ride comfortably, and do basic maneuvering). If your child has no prior skateboard experience, we suggest starting with a few private or group lessons before camp. What to Bring (Required) Skateboard Helmet & Pads (knee, elbow, wrist guards) Packed Lunch Recommended Items Water Bottle Sunscreen Healthy Snack Rental skateboards and pads are available upon request for an additional fee. Pricing - Early Bird Pricing (until April 1st) $250 – Full Week $180 – Half Week (3 Days) A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your camper’s spot and will be applied toward the total balance.
